Christmas Tree Pancakes

Cooking is not my forte! But it comes to my kids, I can always try my best. We are all in the Christmas Spirit, so this morning I made Christmas tree pancakes. It was easier and fun to make and the kids got to help.

Christmas break starts next week and my kids are beyond excited as the real countdown begins and I guess we will be making new Christmas breakfast ideas that my kids will love.

These pancakes were so easy to make and this is all I used:
  1. Pancake Mix
  2. Tree Cookie Cutter
  3. Skittles to decorate
  4. Maple Syrup

Happy Saturday everyone!

Real or Faux?

Growing up in South America, I never had a real tree for Christmas. Since getting married, we've made it a tradition to get a real tree.  We always get Douglas Fraser, they are so beautiful and we love the fresh smell.

We get our Christmas tree the weekend after Thanksgiving.  It takes about a week to decorate it, but it is all worth it and now our kids take part of the decorating process. This tree is wonderful and it lasts until January when we take it down.

Ready to decorate!

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!
